SkyTOP CiSA – the software that seeks to equip the high school student with knowledge and skills on the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools- today underwent preliminary testing and evaluation by the Ministry of Education.
The testing and evaluation was carried out at the Ministry’s National ICT Innovation and Integration Centre (NI3T) located at University of Nairobi’s Kenya Science Campus. A leading centre of excellence in science and technology, open learning, research and community service for sustainable development.
The Kenya National ICT Innovation and Integration Center (KI3C), is an institution within the Ministry of Education mandated to collect, test and share ICT innovations in Kenya, and to harness emerging technologies for integration in all aspects of education (teaching, learning and management). It also promotes the sharing of best practices and success stories in the use of modern tools for teaching and learning.
The Center undertakes research, develops and promotes new and emerging technologies for integration in education. It offers capacity building on higher levels of ICT integration in Education; and keenly participates in advising Ministry of Education’s Senior Management on innovations in education and training.
The Centre’s mandate also includes support on IT-related issues through a helpdesk (monitored both on phone and through this website).
